Welcome to Jackson Hole
You will arrive at Jackson Hole Airport and get picked up after arrival with an easy 36-minute drive to the slopeside luxury hotel at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Rental cars, taxis and ride-share services are available at the airport and the resort concierge is happy to arrange your ground transportation needs. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is one of Fora's preferred luxury family-friendly resorts. Located just one mile from Grand Teton National Park and conveniently close to Yellowstone. This mountain boutique resort delivers an authentic country-like experience for the outdoor enthusiast to take in the sights of Jackson Hole. You will also find Hotel Terra, which is located in the heart of Teton Village. Here you are just steps to restaurants-shopping-dining-and the ski slopes during the winter season.
What I love about this resort besides its location, is the rooftop spa. Enjoy a cocktail, especially in those cold winters with views of the clear skies and mountains, along with dining at one of the two restaurants and soaking in the infinity pool. With stylish finishes and thoughtful amenities, this resort is the ultimate definition of luxury. With rooms and suites with oversized windows getting the valley or mountain views with a jetted tub and rain shower as well as kitchens and dining areas in the family-friendly suites.
Grand Teton National Park
Head out to Grand Teton National Park and see the best that this park has to offer. You will be adjacent to Yellowstone and might get a glimpse of it while at the park. Summer Activities and Winter Activities are perfect for seeing both Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park. The best suggestion to explore both parks is a professional guide. A guide will maximize your time in the expansive wilderness while highlighting the local flora and fauna, park history and iconic landscapes. The resort can help with an arrangement and amazing itinerary through our complimentary concierge services. This way you can visit multiple parks in one or two days.
I suggest taking one day at a time to see both of these magnificent parks. I suggest a half or full-day trip to explore the natural wonders of Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Customize your trip with vehicles and the best guides.
Snowy mountain slopes
The true highlight of Hotel Terra is skiing. With its snowy mountain slopes and many acres to trek, you can easily book a day to ski and get all of the essentials prepared. The benefit for those long-term skiers is unlocking unparalleled convenience. Purchase an exclusive ski valet membership at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Skiing can be made easier with ski and snowboard storage for up to four pairs of skis. Simply book a day to ski online or at the concierge and enjoy.
Events and activities
If you happen to be here any time between February through May, there are many events to stumble upon. These events include Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Race on January 31, Jackson Hole Downhill on March 14–16 and Closing Day 2025 on April 13. Local experiences such as The JW Benn, which is the art of crafting custom handmade hats. It embodies luxury, while seamlessly blending tradition and innovation is something to consider.
Summer Activities are a great way to do many things like Pedal the Pathways, where you can rent an e-bike and peddle to Teton National Park from Jackson. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, known as "Big Red" is an iconic Aerial Tram that opens for summer sightseeing on May 21. There is also the resort’s bike park, bridged gondola, ropes course, bungee trampoline and climbing wall open June 11.
Outdoor recreation
Whitewater and scenic river trips or fly fishing on the Snake River is a must to really get out and enjoy the true nature and beauty of your surroundings.
Horseback riding means saddling up for an authentic Western experience and is highly recommended for families and small groups. Trail rides leave from Teton Village as well as Wranglers offering rides in the parks and national forest while surrounded by stunning Teton views.
