Curator’s statement
During my mid-January 2025 site visit to Hotel Chapter Roma, the first stop on my solo two-week European tour. I was welcomed with a level of warmth and style fit for royalty. From the moment I stepped inside, the beautifully exposed brick doorway, arches and perfect lighting in the lobby called me casually transported me to a modern-day Roman lounge where history and luxury intertwined seamlessly. The chic vibes, exposed 18th-century brick and proximity to the most essential things in Rome you want to see make it a perfect spot for your visit to Rome. I’d recommend it to anyone — I'll definitely stay here again next time I swing through!

Hotel Chapter Roma may not sit directly beside one of Rome’s iconic landmarks, but calling it "off the beaten path" feels almost misleading because it’s perfectly positioned for exploring the city. Just a quick 10–12 minute bus ride from Termini Station (Yahtzee!), the hotel offers effortless access to Rome’s major sites. With three to four frequent bus lines nearby, you can reach St. Peter’s Square in 15 minutes, the Colosseum and Roman Forum in just 10 and the Spanish Steps in about 15. More than just sightseeing conveniences, the hotel is surrounded by everyday essentials — a fantastic pizzeria, shopping, a pharmacy and a bank, all within a block. Convenience truly abounds!

Beyond its prime location, my favorite part of Chapter Roma was its modern, ultra-chic aesthetic, effortlessly blended with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. With 47 thoughtfully designed rooms, including the spacious Suite, the hotel caters to all types of travelers. The Suite features a separate sitting room — perfect for lounging or entertaining a larger group — and the hotel is happy to accommodate extra twin beds for additional guests.

While I missed out on the seasonal rooftop bar (visiting in mid-winter has its downsides), I could suspect it’s just as stylish as the stunning coffee shop and restaurant on the lobby floor. The space was a visual feast, with majestic murals stretching across high ceilings, perfectly curated art-deco furniture and an effortlessly cool atmosphere. But it wasn’t just about aesthetics — the food was stellar. I had my first Cacio e Pepe here, and I was not disappointed! The restaurant also draws plenty of locals, making it a laid-back yet lively spot to ease into your day before venturing out. I also missed out on the Michelin-starred restaurant on the other side of the lobby — Campocori, because it was a holiday and it was closed for the month. But I envy anyone who will get to check it out!

Need to know
I highly recommend Hotel Chapter Roma — it’s conveniently located in the charming Regola neighborhood. It’s great for any group — solo, couple, groups of friends or families. It’s eco-friendly with its sustainable shower products, whose citrus smells were delicious, even to this smell-sensitive gal. Notably, none of the rooms had bathtubs, BUT the showers were heavenly! Don’t miss out on this fabulous boutique hotel <3
