Family Spring Break at the Conrad New York Downtown
Curator’s statement

In March of 2024, my family traveled to New York City for Spring Break. Our stay at the Conrad New York Downtown was like stepping into a cozy oasis amid the urban jungle, with spacious suites that felt like a home away from home. Nestled in the vibrant Battery Park area, we were just a stone's throw away from the Brookfield Place mall and iconic landmarks like One World Trade Center, the 911 Memorial and Museum and the Oculus. From subway adventures to all the excitement in Times Square, we made amazing family memories on this trip.

For our family's spring break getaway to New York City, the Conrad New York Downtown proved to be the perfect choice. From the moment we stepped into the grand lobby, we were greeted with a sense of warmth and sophistication that set the tone for the rest of our stay. The all-suite accommodations provided ample space for our family of five. With a separate living area with a sofa bed that was perfect to have separate spaces to unwind after a day of exploration. The sleek and modern design aesthetic added to the ambiance, making us feel right at home in the heart of the bustling city.

One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's prime location in the Battery Park area. Not only were we treated to stunning views of the Hudson River and the Statue of Liberty (we even got to see cruise ships sail by while sitting on our bed), but we also found ourselves within walking distance of some of the city's most iconic attractions. The nearby mall provided endless shopping and dining options, while the convenience of subway and ferry stations made it easy to navigate the city with ease. Whether we were strolling through the historic streets of Lower Manhattan or taking in the panoramic views from the One World Observatory, there was never a dull moment during our time in the Big Apple.
