Let's start with the quintessential LA experience: tacos. Angel's Tijuana Tacos is a must-visit spot for the best tacos. Their cheese tacos and al pastor are legendary. For an authentic birria experience, head to Birrieria San Marcos or Teddy's Red Tacos Truck, where the birria is simply out of this world. And if you're craving late-night eats, El Chato Taco Truck is the place to be.

Burgers are a staple in LA, and there's no shortage of excellent options. Le Coupe is renowned for serving the best fried chicken in the city, but their burgers are equally impressive. The Win~Dow Silver Lake and Burger She Wrote are also fan favorites among burger enthusiasts. For a unique twist, try the brisket burger at Moo's Craft Barbecue or the epic burgers at Easy Street Burgers.

Food view

Pizza lovers rejoice! LA has some of the best pizzerias in the country. D-Town Pizzeria, Pizzana Silver Lake and Apollonia's Pizzeria are all top contenders for the best pizza in town. And if you're in the mood for a fusion twist, Pijja Palace offers an incredible Indian fusion pizza that's simply the bomb.

Sushi aficionados will be spoiled for choice in LA. Sushi Gen, Sushi Fumi and Shibuya are among my favorite top three sushi spots, and of course, SUGARFISH by Sushi Nozawa is also super delicious. For an all-you-can-eat sushi experience, check out HERE FISHY FISHY, where you can indulge in unlimited sushi for just $39.

Breakfast is a sacred ritual in LA, and there are plenty of spots to fuel up for the day. SUNDAYS by Wake & Late is famous for their breakfast burritos, while Yeastie Boys Bagels and Layla Bagels are among the top two bagel places. For a truly indulgent experience, head to Cafe Los Feliz for their legendary breakfast burrito (I want it right now, YUM) or Egg Tuck for the best egg sandwich in town.

If you're in the mood for something a little fancier, LA has you covered. Osteria Mozza and Mother Wolf are my picks for a more upscale dining experience with great vibes. And for a taste of Korean BBQ, Genwa Korean BBQ and Park's BBQ are sure to impress.

Silver Lake Pool & Inn: If you're looking for a charming and trendy place to stay in Los Angeles, consider the Silver Lake Pool & Inn. This boutique hotel offers a relaxed and stylish atmosphere, with a pool and bar that are perfect for unwinding after a day of culinary adventures.

No trip to LA would be complete without exploring the city's iconic food markets and neighborhoods. Grand Central Market and ROW DTLA offer a variety of food stalls and vendors. Neighborhoods like Chinatown, home to Amboy Quality Meats & Delicious Burgers, and Silver Lake, with gems like Cara Hotel and De La Nonna, are also foodie havens.

Need to know

Whether you're a local or a visitor, Los Angeles is a culinary playground waiting to be explored. From trendy hotspots to hidden gems, this city has something to tantalize every taste-bud. So, grab your appetite and get ready to experience the best that LA has to offer!
