I had the chance to experience Virgin’s Halloween Voyage in October 2024, sailing from Miami aboard the Valiant Lady on the "Caribbean Breeze and Haunted Seas" voyage. It was a spooky good time!
The Sea Terrace
Our first day at sea was Halloween, and it kicked off with deliciously eerie pastries for breakfast, surrounded by over-the-top Halloween decorations. After a relaxing afternoon by the pool, we enjoyed an unforgettable dinner at The Test Kitchen. The menu here is constantly changing, offering new ingredients, innovative cooking techniques and bold flavors. With its sleek, modern décor and a laid-back yet sophisticated atmosphere, The Test Kitchen provides the perfect setting for those eager to indulge their culinary curiosity. It’s not just a meal – it’s a unique, interactive dining experience that’s a must-try for anyone cruising with Virgin Voyages.

After dinner, it was time to get ready for Virgin’s "Scarlet’s Wicked Night," a Halloween twist on the signature Scarlet Night that happens on every sailing, where red is the color of choice. On Halloween, however, it transformed into a “Sirens and Sailors Costume Ball,” with extravagant costumes and eye-catching decorations. From eerie lighting to a massive inflatable octopus, Virgin truly goes all out to endure every sailor has an unforgettable voyage.

Scarlet's Wicked Night
Virgin Voyages’ stop in Key West offered the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Known for its vibrant culture, stunning beaches and rich history, Key West is the ideal destination for a day of exploration. Whether you're strolling down its colorful streets, soaking up the sun at one of its picturesque beaches or visiting iconic landmarks like Ernest Hemingway's house, there’s something for everyone.

Our last day was spent at Virgin Voyages’ Beach Club. It is the ultimate beachfront escape, offering a luxurious and laid-back vibe that’s perfect for unwinding in paradise. Located on the stunning island of Bimini in the Bahamas, this exclusive beach club is reserved just for Virgin Voyages guests, ensuring a serene and crowd-free experience. Guests can soak up the sun on pristine white-sand beaches, take a refreshing dip in crystal-clear waters or enjoy a variety of water sports and activities.

And just like that, our amazing weekend getaway came to an end. Virgin Voyages is ideal for friend groups, bachelor and bachelorette parties, class reunions or really any type of getaway.
