Sensory Bliss: A Luxurious Escape to Palihouse West Hollywood
Curator’s statement

In September of 2023, I had the pleasure of indulging in a mid-week stay at Palihouse West Hollywood. Every step of my stay was met with an above-and-beyond experience from staff, thoughtfully designed spaces and one-of-a-kind treats (feat. a candy bar in the pool lounge!). I can't wait for my next visit!

A visit to Palihouse West Hollywood is truly a treat for all five senses. When you first arrive and step into the lobby, you're greeted by vibrant colors, carefully chosen art pieces and charming furnishings, which feel both luxurious and comforting. You'll quickly notice the signature scent, Saint Pali, which flows through the hotel. Combining over 18 rare and organic essential oils, this fragrance is also available for purchase, a truly unique way to bring a piece of your trip home.

Excellent culinary offerings featuring Mezzanine Sushi and Magnolia Bakery cater to your sense of taste. Start your day with aromatic coffees and fresh juices to join your breakfast of choice (the Muffin is not to be missed). If you’re sticking around for lunch, happy hour or dinner, grab a skillfully crafted cocktail (I highly recommend the Gin & Jaune) and be sure to ask about the cocktail of the day.

Comfort abounds in each room, including plush robes, Bellino fine linens and a Smeg mini fridge stocked with a wide variety of treats. That comfort and relaxation extends to the second floor, where you’ll find strategically placed ambient lighting leading you through the pool lounge. Be sure to stop by the candy bar (yes, candy bar!) on your way to enjoy an oversized lounge chair on the private rooftop pool deck.

Bonus tip: Don't forget to look up! The ceilings throughout Palihouse have not been left out of the incredible design (my favorite is the lobby bar). If you’re looking for an indulgence-filled escape during West Hollywood, don’t look any further than Palihouse!

Need to know

I recommend Palihouse West Hollywood to both LA locals and out-of-town guests looking for a truly unique, above and beyond experience. Beyond the hotel, guests are just a short walk or drive from amazing restaurants (Toca Madera, Laurel Hardware), shopping (The Grove) and entertainment (Largo at the Coronet).
