Curator’s statement
Having recently moved to Burgundy, France, just a one-and-a-half-hour journey from Paris, I planned a spontaneous one-night stay in the city for a shopping trip. Hotel & Spa Royal Madeleine proved to be the perfect base for my adventure. Its central location made it incredibly convenient, and the luxurious amenities provided a serene retreat after a day of retail therapy. I would stay there again and highly recommend it to my clients.

Service
From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted by the warmest and friendliest staff. The service is undoubtedly the best I have encountered in Paris. As a partner of Fora, I was granted the convenience of a late check-out at 1 pm and an early check-in at 1:30 pm. Additionally, I received a free upgrade, free water bottles, and free breakfast for two guests. The check-in procedure was fast and hassle-free, adding to the overall pleasant experience.
Room
I had the pleasure of staying in a superior room, which was exactly as depicted in the photos, yet even more luxurious in person. The room featured a perfectly functioning air conditioning system, which was a blessing in the summer heat. Located on the fifth floor, my room had a charming French “balcony” that overlooked the streets.
The room was equipped with bathrobes and slippers, a mini-fridge and chargeable snacks and complimentary water bottles, coffee, tea, feminine products and a vanity kit. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring I had one of the best nights of sleep.
Location
Hotel & Spa Royal Madeleine is located in a great location, just a five-minute walk from St-Lazare and Madeleine stations. Despite its central position, the street was surprisingly calm and quiet. Major attractions such as the Louvre, first arrondissement shopping areas and the Champs-Elysées are all within walking distance, making it an ideal base for exploring Paris.
Food
The hotel’s buffet breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to suit all tastes including smoked salmon, cereal, croissants, ham, cheese and eggs. The quality and range of food was impressive.
Amenities
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel’s excellent amenities. The indoor pool and sauna were perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. These facilities are free to use, but guests are required to book a time slot with the reception to ensure a private and relaxing experience.
Overall satisfaction
My stay at Hotel & Spa Royal Madeleine was nothing short of wonderful. The welcoming atmosphere, luxurious accommodations and top-notch amenities all contributed to a memorable visit. Considering the ongoing Olympics and the free perks provided, the hotel offers excellent value for money.
Need to know
I highly recommend Hotel & Spa Royal Madeleine to anyone seeking a luxurious and comfortable stay in Paris. This hotel truly stands out for its exceptional service and prime location, making it a perfect choice for both leisure and business travelers.
