When I first walked into Hotel 1928, I was blown away by the aesthetic and ambiance. This hotel is not filled with grand chandeliers and gilt everything, but instead sets an inviting and calming tone that really resonated throughout my stay. Though small but mighty, this gem boasts 33 guest rooms, two dining spaces, a full-service bar, a coffee shop and rooftop terrace.

First, let's talk about the guest rooms! My room was a standard king room that was so beautifully and intelligently designed that I can't think of anything that I would change. Noteworthy inclusions are the Dyson hairdryer (!!!!!!), extremely comfortable bed and linens, walk-in shower, cozy robe and nightly turndown service complete with chocolate chip cookies!

Dining options include:

The Cafe at Hotel 1928 serves coffee, pastries and lite bites. I started each morning here with a delicious mocha and complimentary newspaper.

The Brasserie at Hotel 1928 serves as the main dining option at Hotel 1928. I enjoyed breakfast, lunch, happy hour and after-dinner cocktails here. Their menu is varied and delicious and has something for every palette. My favorites were the buttermilk biscuits, chicken salad croissants, and Dr. Pepper fudge cake. Don't sleep on their wine and cocktail lists — I had an amazing chocolate martini here!

Bertie's on the Rooftop is a smaller rooftop venue that offers a limited but delicious menu with fantastic views!
