The resort is located a quick 10-minute drive from Nassau's airport. After a quick ride, you'll arrive at Bahamian paradise. Whether you're checking into the Grand Hyatt (perfect for kids), the SLS (perfect for groups ready to party) or the Rosewood (great for luxury, couples and a more quiet trip), you'll receive excellent service and amenities.

Each hotel has a variety of room categories to choose from, with standard rooms all the way to penthouse suites. Relax and unwind, each of the rooms are some of the most beautiful ever seen! We stayed at the Grand Hyatt and the room had a huge bathroom, plenty of seating options and a very cozy bed.

You won't be spending much time in your room, though. Baha Mar is a hundreds-acre property boasting a casino, several restaurants, pools and a beachfront water park. You'll spend the day hopping between the grotto pools that have views of the aquarium, the beautiful white sand beach and the thrilling rides at the water park.

Dining options are some of the best on the island, as well. Breakfast does leave a little bit to be desired, but Cafe Madeline had some excellent coffee and pastries. Lunch can be found at various beach-side restaurants and adorable food trucks located right on the beach. However, dinner is where this property really shines. You have to try the upscale Chinese dining at Shuang Ba, and the fresh sushi at Katsuya just has to be experienced!

While Baha Mar is super convenient to get to and super easy for a long weekend trip, you just won't want to leave after 3 nights.

Need to know

Baha Mar has a hotel offering for every type of traveler. From the east coast or central US, flights to Nassau are quick and easy. You can spend days exploring the resort and not find everything! It's perfect for a honeymoon at the Rosewood, a family trip at the Grand Hyatt, or a bachelor/bachelorette party at the SLS. And don't worry about it being crowded--there's so much to do and pools to relax in, you'll never feel crowded!
