Sailing on the Disney Wish with a group of 14 women was nothing short of magical. Disney Cruise Line is known for its exceptional service, immersive storytelling and top-tier entertainment, and the Wish exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped onto the ship and were welcomed by name in the grand atrium, it was clear that this was going to be an unforgettable experience. The ship itself is stunning, blending classic Disney charm with modern luxury — whether it was admiring the elegant Cinderella-inspired décor or sipping cocktails in lounges themed after Beauty and the Beast, every space felt thoughtfully designed.

Waking up to this view was truly magical @meganashleysss
One of the biggest highlights of the cruise was the dining experience. Disney’s rotational dining system meant we got to experience three uniquely themed restaurants — 1923, Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure and Worlds of Marvel — each offering immersive theming and incredible cuisine. Arendelle was especially fun for our girls' group, with live music and character interactions that made for a theatrical dinner experience.

Beyond the dining, there was so much to do, and the Wish truly caters to all types of travelers. We spent our days lounging by the adults-only Quiet Cove pool, indulging in spa treatments at Senses Spa and catching Broadway-caliber shows like The Little Mermaid. The nightlife on board was also a blast — whether we were sipping champagne at The Bayou, dancing in Luna or enjoying the vibes from Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge, there was never a dull moment.

Pirate Night! @meganashleysss
This cruise is perfect for friend groups, couples and even solo travelers looking for a mix of relaxation and fun. While Disney Cruise Line is often thought of as family-focused, the Wish proves that there is plenty for adults to enjoy. Whether you’re a Disney fan or just looking for a luxurious and carefree getaway at sea, this ship delivers an experience that’s both whimsical and sophisticated. I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking to mix a little Disney magic with five-star service, incredible dining and world-class entertainment. Oh, and Disney's private island was truly spectacular!

Need to know
Book specialty dining and spa treatments early: Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté fill up fast, as do spa reservations at Senses Spa. If you want a cabana at Castaway Cay, grab it as soon as they become available!
Pack for themed nights and dress codes: While Disney cruises are more relaxed than some other lines, many guests love to dress up for Pirate Night and elegant dining experiences. Bring a fun outfit to match the theme!
Take advantage of adults-only areas: The Quiet Cove Pool, Cove Café and Senses Spa are the perfect spots to unwind away from the family-friendly areas. Hyperspace Lounge is also a must-visit for Star Wars fans!
Use the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app: The app is essential for daily schedules, dining rotations and messaging other members of your group. It’s the best way to stay organized and make the most of your time on board.
Arrive a day early: If you’re flying into Florida for your cruise, arrive the day before to avoid any travel delays. Staying at Disney’s Riviera Resort or a hotel near Port Canaveral can make embarkation day stress-free.
Whether you’re a Disney pro or a first-time cruiser, the Disney Wish offers something for everyone. It’s a magical mix of luxury, fun, and relaxation — perfect for an unforgettable girls’ trip where everyone feels like a princess.
