Location

The hotel is located in the heart of the Brewery District in downtown Milwaukee, only 10 miles from Milwaukee's Mitchell International Airport. This ideal location is just a few blocks from the city’s sporting complexes, theater district, museums, shopping, amazing restaurants, breweries and other top attractions in the area. You will be within walking distance of the Milwaukee River and riverwalk and Lake Michigan’s lakefront. This is the perfect spot to stay to truly experience all that Milwaukee has to offer.

Historic Renovation

Brewhouse Inn & Suites is a heritage boutique hotel and the only one of its kind in the country. Originally the Pabst Blue Ribbon Brewery, the hotel has been designed to embrace its history while offering luxurious and beautifully designed rooms. The original brewery has been renovated but still features the exterior cream city brick, famous for Milwaukee’s history. Inside, you will see an original wall of the brewery’s manufacturing facility and six massive copper brewing kettles. A beautiful, floor-to-ceiling stained glass window from the 1800s portrays King Gambrinus, the patron saint of beer.

Located within the hotel and in the historic Pabst Brewing Company’s Mill House building is the On Tap Bar & Restaurant. The architectural features in On Tap are truly remarkable. You will find 30-foot ceilings, plenty of exposed cream city brick walls, the distinct Pabst neon sign and more. It is recognized as one of Milwaukee’s most distinctive bars and is worth a visit, whether you are staying at the hotel or not. An outdoor patio is also a great spot to enjoy the historic area.

Rooms

The hotel has 90 beautifully designed and spacious suites that have both an industrial and modern feel. Each suite has a full kitchenette, high ceilings, exposed cream city brick walls, stunning beams and beautiful windows. You will also find french doors with beer-inspired glass panels to add to the historic charm.

Studio suites are 330 square feet and offer a king, queen or two double beds and a full kitchenette.

Two-bedroom suites are 1,100 square feet and include one bedroom with a king bed and one with a queen bed. They also have a queen-sized sofa sleeper in the living area, two bathrooms and a full kitchenette.

Barron Terrace Suites are 850 square feet with 18-foot ceilings. The room features a separate bedroom with a king bed, a queen-sized sofa sleeper in the living area and a full kitchenette. Terrace suites also have a private terrace with outstanding views of the downtown skyline, something truly unique to hotels in downtown Milwaukee.

The Barron Loft Suites are 1,100 square feet and feature a bedroom on the first floor with a queen bed, a king bed in the loft area, a queen-sized sofa sleeper in the living area and a full kitchenette. The staircase is beautifully lined with cream city brick.

The Barron Two-Bedroom Suite is the highest-level room category in the hotel. It features one bedroom with a king bed, one with a queen bed and a queen-sized sofa sleeper in the living area. The full kitchenette also features an oyster-shucking dining table, exposed cream city brick and a preserved section of the original mill’s stairwell in one of the bedrooms. It is a true gem that meticulously combines historic charm with modern design. The 14 ft arched windows provide an amazing city view as well.

Amenities

The in-room amenities are plentiful and include a kitchenette with a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker. Each room has a flat-screen TV with premium cable channels, free wifi and an executive work desk.

The hotel also has a fitness center, on-site laundry room, business center and a gift shop. The hotel has a free shuttle to both Fiserv Forum (home of the Milwaukee Bucks) and American Family Field (home of the Milwaukee Brewers), making sporting events and concerts easily accessible.
