In April of 2023, I did a site inspection while staying at the magical Eden Roc Cap Cana. The location is top-notch, nestled among cliffs with beautiful, clear waters, and the staff is extremely attentive, with your own personal concierge to ensure everything is taken care of. It was my second time at this hotel, and is high up on my recommended list for clients.

Location
The hotel is located in Cap Cana, an extremely safe and secure area in the Dominican Republic. When booking a room here, transfers to and from the airport are included, making your travel seamless. You find yourself on the Caribbean coast, with one of the best 18-hole golf courses in the Dominican Republic and Mexico.
Amenities
With a beautiful fitness center on site, overlooking the large pools, you are able to arrange Personal Training or Yoga to truly connect with your best self. After that, a trip to the Natur-Bliss Spa is recommended, where a range of treatment options await: massages, body therapy, facials, hairdressers and a nail salon. A sauna and steam room is available for guests to use at no extra cost.
Dining options
There are several restaurants on site: Blue Grill+Bar, where breakfast is served, as well as lunch and dinner and La Palapa, a beautiful restaurant overlooking the sea. Mediterraneo offers a fine-dining experience, and is located near the Villa Lobby, which is further away from the beach. The Beach Club is a wonderful option for food and drink if you don’t want to leave your sunbeds.
Room Categories
Eden Roc Cap Cana has a range of room types available to suit your party size. Beachfront suites, which range from deluxe to one or two beds, overlook the sea and have direct beach access. Pool suites come equipped with a private pool, and also range from deluxe, to two bedrooms. These are located a short drive away from the beach, approximately five minutes on your own golf buggy, which is provided to you free of charge. Ocean Bungalows are outstanding, with an oceanfront bungalow, which is either one or two bedrooms (which is where I stayed this time round). Bungalows have either a private plunge pool, jacuzzi or large pool. These sit in total privacy, overlooking the beach yet are within walking distance to all of the main amenities. For larger groups, villas are the best option. Three, four, five and eleven bedroom villas are available, each unique in their amenities (most have pools, some have bbq spots and fully-equipped kitchens). Whatever the purpose of your trip, Eden Roc has it all.
Need to know
I recommend Eden Roc Cap Cana for a honeymoon or romantic getaway, as well as for a family trip. In all honesty, whatever the occasion or group size, you can’t go wrong with this marvelous hotel. Reach out and let me plan your perfect Dominican Vacation!
