Curator’s statement
The Global Ambassador is one of Phoenix's newest properties, and it has been an incredible hotel to visit for travelers and locals alike. Renowned for their amazing coffee and cocktails, the Michelin Key property boasts spectacular views of both the Phoenix skyline and the illustrious Arizona mountains. This venue has been on my bucket list of places to visit since it opened, and I've since loved coming here to work in the lobby, enjoy a drink on the rooftop and celebrate special occasions at their premier dining venues. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a European feel combined with a high level of privacy.

The Global Ambassador is located in the heart of Arcadia, just minutes away from Phoenix and Scottsdale. This gorgeous property is nestled between the Phoenix Suns' practice arena and several other high-end buildings. After stepping out of my car, I was greeted by friendly valet service and gorgeously manicured front lawns. After being escorted inside the property, I caught a glimpse of the bustling cafe filled with professionals working from their laptops, enjoying premium drinks and food with their colleagues and hosting meetings in the shared lounge space. The lobby is spacious and absolutely gorgeous. From velvet seating and lacquered floors to their signature white floral centerpieces and teal accents, this lobby took my breath away.
The first room we visited on the tour was one of the eight Terrace Suites on site and it was beautiful. With gorgeous artwork, thoughtfully designed rooms and upgraded amenities, this room was definitely a showstopper. My favorite part about this room in particular was the floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the Phoenix skyline. On the spacious balcony with soft outdoor seating, you can enjoy fantastic Arizona sunrises with your in-room espresso or order in room service to enjoy a private breakfast on your terrace. Everything — from the oversized oak desk to the golden mirrored vanity — was designed for you to fully enjoy each aspect of the room, without sacrificing comfort or style.
The second room we saw was one of the nine Petite Suites on property, which was equally as beautiful. With fully stocked wet and dry bars, oak cabinetry and the same beautiful windows, the Petite Suite was just as gorgeous as the Terrace Suite. What really caught my eye was the individual art pieces that hung in each of the rooms and in every hallway. Their curation team and artists designed each room with specific pieces to tell individual stories through art. Even the coffee table books were curated to match the art that hung throughout the rooms.
We stopped at the rooftop to tour the Thea Mediterranean restaurant and to fully take in the 360-degree views throughout the entire restaurant. Diners enjoy a view of the Phoenix skyline and Camelback Mountain, depending on the seat that the guest is in. This restaurant was incredible — with amber glassware and the signature teal plates, I was transported to the Mediterranean by simply admiring the table settings. Thea also offers private dining options with the same incredible views. These must be booked in advance.
We then took the elevator down to tour the spa and wellness center, where guests can enjoy IV hydration treatments, body treatments, facials, saunas and more. This spa was particularly calm and peaceful, with options for guests to relax inside or outside with a view of Camelback Mountain. I highly recommend stopping by for a treatment during your stay.
Afterward, we toured the gardens and pavilion, where small weddings, receptions, cocktail hours and other private events may be hosted. The pavilion was incredible — with European chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling windows, this place would be a magnificent venue to host your big day.
To round out our tour, we stopped for coffee and pastries at Le Market, where their expert baristas and bartenders created incredible drinks and bites. While busy, the open dining room wasn't hectic — there were many young professionals going about their business days, conducting meetings and calls, or simply working on their laptops. I was told that Le Âme completely transforms at night, turning this bustling cafe into a luxurious candlelit French steakhouse.
