Curator’s statement
I visited Hôtel Madame Rêve located in the Sentier neighborhood of Paris. The hotel opened two years ago after undergoing a nine-year renovation inside the old, 19th century post office. The hotel takes up an entire city block. All 82 rooms are found on the 3rd floor, providing a city or garden view. Just down the street you’ll find Bourse De Commerce-Pinault Collection, Jardin du Palais Royal and the Louvre. Local Parisian shops, as well as high end shopping are steps away.

Dining
The hotel offers a Mediterranean French Brasserie and a French Japanese restaurant. The Brasserie boasts 29-foot ceilings that will take your breath away after stepping through the unassuming lobby. The brasserie often has live music ranging from jazz, soul, and blues. Hôtel Madame Rêve also offers the largest rooftop in Paris, accommodating up to 400 people. The rooftop is open from mid-May through the summer.
Spa
Guests have access to the sauna, gym and spa services, including massages and nail care. Spa services can also be provided in the room if preferred.
Room Categories
Deluxe: 25 sqm. I was very impressed by the amount of space offered considering this is their smallest room. Each room comes with a shower and separate room with a toilet. Regardless of the view, you are guaranteed stunning views of the city or peaceful views of the garden. If a garden view room is selected your room comes with a terrace and day bed for sunning. Junior suite is the next category, followed by a suite. Suites offer the option of having a sitting room with a pull-out couch to accommodate up to two more guests. All rooms were well lit from sunlight because of large windows through the room. Views of the Eiffel Tower result in a higher cost, but it is well worth the price! I can only imagine how amazing it would be to see the tower sparkle at night from your bed.
Need to know
Overall, I give Madame Reve an A+. The staff was extremely friendly and the first thing I noticed was the incredible signature scent. The sunlight in each room was a great perk as were the views. I would recommend this for couples that are looking for something higher end but wish to stay in the heart of the city.
