History:
The building dates from the 1930s. The stunning interiors of each room were designed and implemented by Oitoemponto.
Rooms and Categories:
63 rooms and 13 suites.
Superior, Deluxe (located on the upper floors with courtyard view), and Executive (with avenue view)
Suites: One is two levels which would be perfect for the honeymooning couple, and one has a dining room with small kitchen for staff to prepare/present meals.
Amenities:
There is a Nuxe* spa with a long list of treatments available. It exudes relaxation in the color choices of the space. In addition, there is a swimming pool. *Nuxe products are provided in each guest room.
All the services of a 5 star hotel are provided.
Families:
The Suite Monumentale is the only suite with a room connecting inside to another room.
For all other connecting rooms, two rooms can be "connected" when the door to the hallway is closed. There is one pair per floor; total of 5. This does allow some privacy but the two rooms are separate without an inner connecting door.
Children are provided child-friendly choices in the restaurant and even spa treatments specific to children such as "super hero head massage." Kid-size bathrobes and slippers are provided.
Restaurants:
“Le Monumental Palace has 1 Michelin star Restaurant, Le Monument, opened from Tuesday until Saturday, at dinner.
The Breakfast is served on La Mezzanine, where Le Grand Déjeuner is served on Sundays.
The Turquoise Room works almost as an extension of Le Monument, with the same menu, for a maximum of 22 people.
Yakuza by Olivier is another restaurant located inside the hotel, but a different concept and an external management, serving both lunches and dinners.” ~ Ana Rebelo
