In September 2023 we stayed at the Athabasca Hotel because of the temperature drop at our camp site in Wapiti Jasper. I would stay there again as the staff was attentive and the accommodations were comfortable and affordable.

Let's just say when the temperature drops in your camp site to 27 degrees the Athabasca Hotel is the place to go for a warm bed and hot shower at an affordable price. Communal showers weren't a big deal braker. When on a budget you could save a hundred bucks by going the communal route. The breakfast at O'Shea's hit the spot with the West Coast Eggs Benedict topped with prawns, avocado and smoked salmon. The hot coffee ain't too bad either.
