The Beautiful Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach Resort
Curator’s statement

Embarking on a journey to the Andaz Pattaya Resort at Jomtien Beach in Thailand was an experience that left an indelible mark on my memory. From the moment I stepped foot into this extraordinary resort, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of unparalleled luxury and hospitality. The impeccable service provided by the staff, coupled with the opulent facilities and culinary delights, exceeded even the loftiest of expectations. From the moment I arrived until the day of my departure, every moment was filled with wonder and delight. It is my pleasure to share the magic of the Andaz Pattaya Resort and showcase why it stands as a beacon of luxury on the shores of Jomtien Beach.

This resort is conveniently located about 1.5 hours from Bangkok. Plan a few days in Bangkok first and stay at the Park Hyatt (which I personally experienced on this trip), then enjoy some beach time at the stunning Andaz Pattaya Resort at Jomtien Beach.

Nestled along the stunning coastline of Jomtien Beach, the newly opened Andaz Pattaya Resort stands as a symbol of luxury and tranquility. Combining modern elegance with authentic Thai character, this resort offers guests a truly unique and immersive experience. Staying here truly allows you to immerse yourself in the beauty and serenity of Thailand's coastal paradise. I was lucky enough to enjoy a swim in the pool front room, which was super fun to have and enhanced the tropical vibe of my experience.

The rooms offer a seamless fusion of contemporary aesthetics and traditional Thai influences. Floor-to-ceiling windows invite guests to immerse themselves in either the azure ocean or the tropical gardens.

Culinary experiences abound with four on-site restaurants including an Italian, Thai Restaurant, steakhouse and a beach-front fish/ seafood restaurant. From innovative Thai cuisine to international delicacies, guests are treated to a culinary journey that reflects the vibrant flavors of the region. Savor refreshing cocktails crafted with care while enjoying panoramic ocean views. The service level of the staff was also top-notch during each dining experience, with them anticipating guest’s needs. For example, after my second day, the staff knew I preferred sparkling water to still water at each meal.

There are an array of luxurious amenities to elevate your stay. Head to the spa to try some holistic treatments inspired by traditional Thai techniques. I personally was able to enjoy the spa myself and had an absolutely amazing and tranquil experience. I highly recommend visiting the spa if you are able to during your visit! For those who love hanging out by the pool on vacation, there are multiple infinity pools overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. Fitness enthusiasts can stay active at the gym that also has some pretty amazing views.

Need to know

Luxurious Accommodations: The resort offers contemporary rooms thoughtfully designed with Thai-inspired elements, creating a sense of spaciousness and serenity.

Breathtaking Views: Guests can enjoy panoramic vistas of the azure ocean or lush tropical gardens from floor-to-ceiling windows, immersing themselves in the natural beauty of Pattaya. There are rooms with ocean views, garden views or pool views. There are two pools, a quieter adult pool (near the spa) where I stayed and also an ocean-front pool. If you’re a beach person, I would request a room close to the ocean as the quiet/adult pool is a bit of a walk (approx five mins) to the beach and beach-front pool.

Culinary Experience: With four onsite restaurants, you will be immersed in incredible culinary creations at every meal. I’d recommend you try all the restaurants so you get to enjoy the Thai cuisine, Italian, Steakhouse and ocean-front seafood restaurants served against the backdrop of panoramic ocean views. Culinary delights await at every turn.

Serene Ambiance: The resort provides a tranquil atmosphere where guests can relax and rejuvenate, whether lounging by the pool or indulging in spa treatments.
