One&Only Kéa Island Review
Curator’s statement

In June 2024, I did a site inspection during the opening day/week of One&Only Kéa Island. Almost untouched by tourism, this Greek Island now hosts the world's top hospitality brand: One&Only Kéa Island. The property is architecturally stunning, remote and peaceful. I would definitely recommend it to the right client.

Where to stay

It is a bit difficult to get to Kéa Island — you either need to take an expensive helicopter or private boat, or you take the ferry which only runs twice a day — but the hotel on the island is a real gem! This hotel is great for couples trying to get away and who like privacy, as well as families with older children. (Although the hotel does its best to accommodate younger children — and the kids club there is fantastic! — it is best to warn clients that the cliff landscaping and the need to use buggies makes it a bit difficult with babies and toddlers.)

An outdoor coffee table on a patio overlooking the ocean.

I would recommend staying here for two to three nights as there are currently limited dining options in the hotel and not many dining options on the island.

The hotel has a private bay rock beach with a fantastic beach restaurant. Breakfast and lunch options are great, too.

All of the staff in the hotel are super friendly.

Pools in each villa are warm and rooms are exceptional.

Need to know

I recommend One&Only Kéa Island to clients who have been to Greece before and want a more authentic/non-touristy Greek island experience with excellent service.
