Scenic Escape at the Pendry Natirar in Peapack, NJ

We had one night at the Pendry Natirar and soaked in as much as we could in the short time, but next time, I would be sure to stay longer to fully enjoy all it has to offer. We checked into our room on a Saturday afternoon. The entire property was recently renovated and opened in October 2024, so the rooms are pristine and spacious. Thanks to Fora’s partnership with Pendry, we were upgraded to a beautiful Deluxe room with a full sitting area and stunning views of the rolling hills. After settling in, we enjoyed a couples massage at Spa Pendry, and then we relaxed sitting by the heated indoor spa pool watching the sunset. We started our evening with cocktails at Ladd’s Tavern and then headed across the way to Ninety Acres where we enjoyed a wonderful dinner. The friendly staff was more than willing to drive us the short distance to and from dinner on the chilly night. On Sunday, we enjoyed breakfast and explored the scenic views before heading back towards the city.

Dining

The onsite dining options are fantastic. Ladd’s Tavern is at the center of the hotel, and features an excellent cocktail bar, as well as contemporary comfort food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The highly revered Ninety Acres is a short walk from the main hotel building, and features fine dining sourced from the onsite natural, sustainable farm. You can also enjoy tea by the fire in the Great Room, or poolside snacks at the soon-to-open outdoor pool.

Experiences

There are activities for couples, friends or families. Enjoy farm experiences like a guided tour of the bee hive and heated green house, or learn to harvest eggs. Or be active with e-biking, golfing, fly fishing or axe throwing. The onsite cooking school also offers cooking classes.

If you are looking to unplug and relax, the Spa Pendry will pamper you in massages, facials, mud treatments and beyond. Be sure to arrive early to enjoy the indoor pool overlooking the scenic hills, or relax in the salt room.

The area

Pendry Natirar is located a few minutes from the towns of Peapack and Gladstone, NJ. You can stroll the local shops and restaurants. The area is also home to several horse stables, golf courses and hiking trails. It is about one hour from New York City, and less than 2 hours from Philadelphia.

If you live on the East Coast, this is the perfect spot to take a long-weekend relaxing getaway. Or it’s worth the visit if you’re traveling from further away. It’s wonderful as a romantic couples escape, or a friends spa weekend.
