The Farm House Inn Sonoma A Luxury Boutique Oasis in California’s Wine Country
Curator’s statement

Farmhouse Inn is a luxury boutique hotel in Sonoma County with 25 guest rooms, two farm-to-table restaurants and a spa set on a property dating from 1873. It's two miles from Sonoma wineries and 21.7 miles from the Pacific Ocean. Your inspired escape to Wine Country. They value high-quality local goods and embrace all that the beautiful california wine country has to offer. From bathing to adventuring to dining, the farmhouse inn will show you simple luxury in true wine-country form.

I had the pleasure of staying here and fell in love with the authentic, laid-back, yet luxurious vibe, their attention to detail, their incredible service, amazing amenities, on-site pool and spa and Michelin-starred restaurant. Read all about my stay on my blog, The JetSetting Fashionista.

Nestled in Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley, among gently rolling hills and stunningly majestic vistas, The Farmhouse Inn welcomes you to an inspired escape. While the property and original farmhouse have remained since 1873, siblings Joe and Catherine discovered the Farmhouse over 21 years ago and have poured their talents and passion into the exquisite renovation ever since.

There are a few different rooms here, barn suites, cottages and farmhouse rooms. The barn suites are the most luxurious accommodations and they’re in actual barns, with two options to choose from - a junior suite or a one-bedroom suite. The cottages are a bit closer to the restaurant and offer a suite size and a room size option. The farmhouse rooms are located in the original 1873 farmhouse. These are the most well-priced rooms.

Farm House Inn & Spa is perfect for an adult romantic getaway or a girls trip. Every one of the 25 guest rooms in this boutique hotel is one of a kind. Relax in the comfort of your lavish feather bed with fine European linens. Unwind in a large, jetted tub or take a steam shower or hit the spa for pure bliss. Rekindle your spirit with a bottle from your curated wine refrigerator, in front of your oversized fireplace. With your visit, a few of my favorite amenities that you will enjoy:

  • Stunning private bathrooms with large jetted or sitting tubs and steam showers with Sonoma-made, organic Sumbody bath and beauty products.

  • Fresh seasonal flowers which really makes you feel like you're in Sonoma County. Love this touch.

  • Nespresso machine and complimentary coffee pods. I can't get enough of N'espresso both home and away so love this too!

  • Complimentary snacks in-room (when I visited they were from a local restaurant I adore) or in the room refrigerator and complimentary non-alcoholic mini-bar.

  • In-room curated wine fridge stocked with a rotating selection of Farm House Inn’s favorite local wineries.

  • Complimentary Organic Artisan Bath Bar is available in the Guest Services Lobby.

  • Complimentary on-property wine tasting daily from 4 pm to 5 pm where Winery Partners host and do a full educational tasting experience for guests. During my visit I got to wine taste with Littoria an amazing biodynamic Sonoma Winery that's fabulous!

  • Another thing you must enjoy are the complimentary nightly S’mores complete with roasting forks for the marshmallows, homemade vanilla marshmallows, Valrhona chocolate and graham crackers available in the Guest Services Lobby.
