Mondrian Condesa: Modern Luxe in CDMX
Curator’s statement

I recently returned from a five-night stay last week at the very cool Mondrian Condesa.

I was warmly welcomed and subsequently taken care of by the staff; greeted daily and checked in as to how my stay was going. Highly recommend.

The Mondrian Condesa is a year-old property located in the buzzing Condesa neighborhood of Mexico City. The hotel's modern and stylish design is very much in sync with the DNA of the Mondrian brand. The Terrace Suite I was upgraded to provides panoramic views of Colonia Condesa and beyond. The room is kitted out with a Lavazza mini-espresso machine, Marshall Bluetooth speaker, comfortable climate control and lightning-fast Wi-Fi. And the Mondrian is a great base to explore and walk through Condesa and Roma Norte for meals and hangouts at excellent eateries such as Mendl Deli, Castizo, Azul Condesa, Frituur and many more.

This image depicts a hotel exterior, complete with curved architectural designs and a cool-toned color palette. There are various windows and some trees scattered about as well.

This image depicts a view of a car behind a white sign that reads "Mondrian" on top of tiled flooring. There is a building in the background, as well as trees and another car on the lefthand side of the view.

This image depicts a hotel suite complete with a white bed in the center of the room. Atop it are pillows, while a colorful piece of abstract art hangs on the wall above it. There is a wooden side table next to it with a lamp and telephone on top of it. At the end of the bed is a grey bench with a black backpack resting atop it. The bed sits on top of an orange rug and wood paneled flooring.

Need to know

The Mondrian Condesa's location is perfect for business, urban and solo design or lifestyle travelers. As mentioned prior, Condesa and Roma Norte are highly walkable neighborhoods, with green parks, walkways and architectural eye candy. It is also a short Uber ride away to Polanco and Chapultepec. And the staff provides excellent service.

The rooftop skybar is a great place to decompress with a drink after a day of exploring CDMX.
