Staying at Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul
Curator’s statement

The moment I stepped through the doorway of the Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus in Istanbul, I was greeted with a chilled glass of champagne and warm smiles. My experience throughout my stay at this hotel was nothing short of spectacular! I highly recommend this property to my clients, and would go back again in a heartbeat.

The Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul is located right on the coast of the mighty Bosphorus Straight. It boasts spectacular views of the Bosphorus Bridge (official name 15 July Martyrs Bridge), and is the connecting point between Asia and Europe. Istanbul truly is the place where east meets west, as part of the city is located in Europe, and the other in Asia. The Mandarin Oriental Istanbul is modern, understated and luxurious. Its fresh interiors, large rooms and floor-to-ceiling windows breathe light into the day, and unique to Istanbul's more traditional interiors.

A beautiful detail you will notice in all the rooms is the curved edges of the windows, replicating those of a cruise ship - a nod to the property's location. I can't go any further without mentioning the fabulous dining options. The breakfast buffet is so full that it took two rounds to even sample half of what was offered. It was a good thing that I was there for a few days! Spas are a big focus for the Mandarin Oriental brand, and this hotel's spa was nothing short of stunning. It's definitely worth taking the time to experience a treatment or two.

There are some wonderful restaurants within walking distance of the Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul. Their concierge team is on hand to assist with reservations, transportation and anything else you may need during your stay. They also offer a butler service who will personally connect with you via WhatsApp on arrival, and will be there for you 24/7. Overall, this is a fabulous hotel and one of my favorites!
