The Bellagio: Still the Best Casino Hotel in Vegas
Curator’s statement

Since it's opening in 1998, the Bellagio has been a focal point of the Las Vegas Strip. It's central location, dancing fountains, jaw-dropping conservatory, stellar restaurants, and elegant vibe keep it at the top of my list as the best casino hotel in Vegas.

Following a $110 million renovation, the Bellagio hotel and casino in Las Vegas is better than ever. My husband and I have stayed at almost every hotel on the Strip, but we keep coming back to Bellagio. The adults-focused atmosphere and the array of top-rate experiences elevate this hotel-casino to our overall favorite.

Even the most basic hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable and feature a subdued, calming color palette, huge windows and marble bathrooms with dual sinks. The Spa rooms add outstanding mountain views and a soaking tub to the experience. Other recently remodeled rooms can be booked with a Strip or Fountain view.

The pools are stately and provide comfortable lounge chairs. If you really want the lap of luxury, you can reserve a daybed or cabana. There are five different courtyard pool settings to explore, so you're sure to find just the right spot to cool off and relax.

The casino gaming areas and bars are always bustling but still maintain the property's elegant feel. When you need a break from winning your fortune, the conservatory's themed floral displays provide a welcome respite. Additionally, the spa offers a range of services as well as day-pass access to a steam room, sauna and whirlpools.

Even when we don't stay at the Bellagio, we usually end up dining there. There is an abundance of restaurant options, from Sadelle's for a sumptuous breakfast to Noodles for a flavorful Pan-Asian lunch to the Mayfair Supper Club for an immersive and entertaining dinner experience. One of our favorite dinners ever was at Prime Steakhouse with a bottle of Napa cabernet and a view of the fountains.

Of course, shows are a staple of Las Vegas casino hotels, and Bellagio is home to the best: Cirque du Soleil's "O." The aquatic feats — both technical and acrobatic — will take your breath away.

Need to know

After booking your room with me, I highly recommend contacting the Bellagio concierge to make dinner and show reservations in advance.
