Curator’s statement
Last weekend of October 2023, I with my husband stayed in a Relais & Chateaux Stikliai hotel. The cozy boutique-style hotel in the old town of the Lithuanian capital Vilnius welcomed us with warmth. Its location is very convenient, and everything you want to see is within walking distance. The only thing I regret is that my stay was too short; I will definitely return for a longer stay to enjoy.

From the airport, it takes about 20 minutes by car and 30 minutes by public transport to reach the Relais & Chateaux Stikliai hotel. Driving from the bus or train station takes about 10 min. You can always rely on their concierge if you need to arrange transportation, a reservation for a restaurant, go on an excursion, or get tickets to the theatre, concert, or other event. The staff is so nice and caring that you just need to ask and they will help you with all your needs.
The interior of the hotel is decorated in French style. You can choose from three categories of rooms and three categories of suites; you will definitely find something for your taste and comfort. We got a cozy room with a view of the inner yard, where there were growing creepers with yellow and reddish leaves. In summer, when everything is green, it looks even better. There is a terrace to spend your time outside when the weather is fine.
So what to do here on your stay? You can make a reservation for spa procedures, go to the gym, enjoy your drink in the winter garden, or maybe use a pool table with your friends/family/colleagues. They have a restaurant, tavern, and bakery with the sweetest desserts. The vegetables, fruits, berries, and some spice herbs come from the natural farm that the owners established to bring high-quality products for the guests. Really, you get such a good feeling here that you don't want to leave.
For my husband, it was the first time coming to Vilnius, so we did more city exploration. On the last Sunday of the month, most museums and galleries are free here. So we visited The Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania, which is a ten-minute walk away from the hotel. We had a very nice experience and brought many pleasant memories back with us.
