From the moment you set foot on the cobblestone path leading to the château's grand entrance, a sense of grandeur pervades the air. The first time I visited in December of 2018, I knew I would return and make this a regular rotation whenever I was in the region. The meticulously restored 13th-century architecture transports guests back in time, offering a glimpse into the rich history and heritage of the region. Upon arrival, I am always greeted with warmth and sophistication by the attentive staff, whose commitment to personalized service exceeds all expectations. They will not let you enter without having a seat in the beautiful courtyard with its atrium ceiling to enjoy a glass of champagne while they take care of your check-in logistics. Every whim and desire is effortlessly catered to, ensuring a seamless and indulgent stay from start to finish.

I have been lucky enough to experience quite a few of the rooms on site, including a stay in the archery tower, and a stay in a room with a solid marble bathtub that seems to be more the size of a swimming pool.
