The Sea Island Resort Oasis
Curator’s statement

Sea Island is truly a place of relaxation, from the services offered to the lush grounds. The five-star property offers a five-star spa, which is a must-visit on any stay. The spa offers many treatment options, and the icing on the cake is the spa’s locker room services. After a luxurious massage, I enjoyed the eucalyptus-infused steam room, the heated mineral pool, and ended with a vitamin c-infused shower. Being a health and wellness enthusiast, the spa really checks all the boxes

Sea Island is the beach to go to in Georgia. It is a private island oasis filled with activities for the whole family. It provides classic luxury accommodations, three championship golf courses and a few miles of open beach for all kinds of activities. From the arcade room and candy store to the beach bar and adult pool area, the Beach Club offers many amenities to satisfy everyone’s needs. And, for time out of the sun, The Cloister has a cozy library. It is filled with books from floor to ceiling and seating covering all of the corners, giving it an intimate feel. There is also a lovely atrium full of windows that provides the space for self-reflection while soaking up the afternoon sun.

Aside from the restaurants offered on Sea Island, right over the bridge is St. Simon’s Island with many great dinner options. Woodside is an unexpected, sophisticated restaurant located on St. Simon’s Island. Its upscale and chic design, along with modern cuisine, provides another option from the traditional Georgia seafood palate.

My favorite restaurant on St. Simon’s Island would be Georgia’s Sea Grill. Their fresh catch of the day prepared with the chef’s choice, is a must-have. And, for a sweet treat, visit Dulce Dough Bakery for freshly made donuts and buttermilk biscuits. Local tip, order the day before and by-pass the morning line through the side door for pick up.

The Cloister Hotel and Sea Island are full of history and traditions. Along with generations of family traditions, the island also offers corporate services that include security, privacy and exclusivity. Having a private airport right around the corner, allows for such services.
