Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa: A Grand Cayman Trip Report
Curator’s statement

Kimpton Seafire Resort and Spa holds a special place in my heart as it marks the cherished memory of my "babymoon" for my third baby. It was the first time since becoming parents that my husband and I experienced a true vacation, not just a trip with our two other children. While exceptionally kid-friendly, the resort also caters beautifully to couples seeking a romantic escape. The perfect location, pristine beach, clean and modern rooms and relaxing pool all contributed to an unforgettable experience. However, it was the warm hospitality and genuine friendliness of the staff that truly set Kimpton Seafire apart, making it a haven of relaxation and rejuvenation.

Where to stay in Grand Cayman

My family and I embarked on our first journey to the Cayman Islands for our babymoon, and I'm thrilled to share that it was an absolute dream come true. While we initially considered other properties, we opted for the Kimpton Seafire Resort and Spa based on glowing recommendations, and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made, and one of our favorite vacations and properties to date.

The Seafire is not just gorgeous — it's modern, impeccably clean and boasts a prime location. But what truly sets this resort apart is its exceptional staff. Every single person went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of amazing.

Initially, we thought the Seafire might cater more towards couples and honeymooners, but we were pleasantly surprised by how incredibly kid-friendly it was. Our two-year-old and four-year-old were treated like VIPs, with welcome gifts waiting for them in our room. The kids' pool was a hit, striking the perfect balance between fun for the little ones and relaxing for adults. There were also plenty of lawn games to keep everyone entertained, a calm and safe beach, and the cherry on top — free food for kids under five.

Our four-year-old is now almost 10 and the fact that he still repeatedly asks to return to the Seafire speaks volumes, especially considering the resort doesn't have waterslides, which he usually loves.

This was the first time that our family felt like we were on vacation, not just a "trip" filled with stress and exhaustion that comes with traveling with young kids.

I could rave about the Seafire endlessly, but suffice it to say that it receives my highest rating. If you're seeking a luxurious, relaxing, and family-friendly escape, look no further than the Kimpton Seafire Resort and Spa. You won't be disappointed.

Need to know

I recommend Kimpton Seafire Resort and Spa to a range of my clients looking for a family-friendly vacation, a honeymoon or a romantic couple's getaway. It also could be a great property for a girl's getaway or multi-couple trip. From the location to the rooms, food and staff, this is a perfect property and I would love to help plan your perfect Grand Cayman vacation.
