Curator’s statement
With Paris on the mind of so many this year as it gears up for the Summer Olympics, it’s great to see a classic hotel in the heart of Paris embracing the excitement while continuing to offer all the wonderful amenities that this 5-star hotel has offered for years! Staying in the 1st arrondissement, in the heart of the city, is right for all types of travelers from those with families to couples looking for the ultimate romantic getaways to business travelers. 1st is filled with iconic landmarks, historic sites and cultural attractions. The Regina Hotel Paris is the perfect centrally located hotel located just across the street from the Louvre and overlooks the tranquil Tuileries Garden. On a recent trip to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, my husband and I enjoyed all the Regina Hotel Paris and the 1st arrondissement had to offer.

If you are looking for a Paris destination the meets absolutely all your needs — central location, view of the Eiffel Tower, family- and pet-friendly, sauna and fitness center — the Regina Hotel Paris is your ideal choice in the heart of Paris.
The hotel offers family travelers a very special experience. Imagine finding a family room with a luxury setting in a hotel built in the 1800s. Suites are designed with the family in mind, with adjoining rooms, some with bunkbeds and connecting suites. The location near the Tuileries Gardens offers families the chance to enjoy some outside activities within walking distance to the hotel.
If it’s a romantic getaway that you are looking for, be sure to reserve the Eiffel Tower view room to make your trip to Paris even more magical.
On my most recent trip to Paris to celebrate my 25th wedding anniversary, we splurged and booked dinner at Le Jules Verne on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. Guests gain access to the restaurant via a private elevator that jets diners through the innerworkings of the tower to the restaurant. We opted to splurge on the seven-course dinner that was €230 per person, but each unique course was better than the last. It was the ultimate romantic dream in the City of Love — an over-the-top dining experience 410 feet above Paris.
Need to know
I would suggest the Regina Hotel Paris for any type of traveller to Paris because it offers a haven of relaxation in the heart of Paris. The hotel offers luxurious rooms, a wellness center, family rooms and exquisite French cuisine on site. A perfect place to use as home base for your time in Paris.
