Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is a luxury hotel at a destination that should be on everyone's bucket list! When you stay at the Fairmont, you are right in the heart of the action. In recent years, Banff National Park has become incredibly popular, and staying at the hotel right on the lake helps any traveler avoid parking issues and gives access to all of the amazing amenities:
-5 Restaurants
-Hiking Trails
-Spa
-Shopping
-Fitness & Wellness Classes
-Boathouse with Canoe Rentals & Tours
-Fun Planned Seasonal Activities
To Eat: If you want a fancy dinner with the most amazing view the Fairview Bar & Restaurant is there for steaks, seafood & great cocktails. (I highly recommend "The Lisbon") Walister Strube offers traditional fondue for a fun experience, and you can also get in-room dining or grab something to go for your adventures at the Guide's Pantry
To Do: Canoeing on Lake Louise is a definite bucket-list item! You can also hike to the famous Agnes Teahouse for beautiful views of the lakes directly from the hotel. There were a lot of activities going on every hour and the concierge can help set up everything!
To Sleep: Our rooms were very nice & felt luxurious! We loved the in-room amenity which included a bottle of wine & charcuterie board. It was so nice to check in early right when we arrived and the views of the lake from an upgraded room were perfect. The perks offered through FORA were amazing for this stay!
We felt like royalty at this hotel, especially because there were so many perks to being a guest: easy valet parking (forget the crowds!), the lake all to ourselves for sunset once everyone left, a special guest-only line for canoe rentals, and top-of-the-line service. A stay at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
