Awe Inspiring Nature, Views and Unique Memories: Three days in Naboisho Conservancy, Masai Mara, Kenya
Fora’s Take

As a family of four, including a disabled traveler, who loves nature and wildlife, the Asilia staff and Naboisho staff in particular, were warm, hospitable, incredibly helpful and creative in ensuring that our family with our different abilities and needs had an amazing and memorable experience. We recommend Naboisho highly to anyone seeking a unique, authentic but also intimate and luxury, experience in the wild.

The Naboisho camp is located in southwest Kenya, adjacent to the world-famous Masai Mara Reserve. The area has a high concentration of wildlife and is also stunningly beautiful. It is most often accessed via air (direct flight from Wilson airport in Nairobi). The camp itself is small and high-quality, with only nine tents, including two family tents.

A typical day consists of waking up at dawn with a hand-delivered tray of fresh tea or coffee and exploring in an open air jeep with your guide to find and spot wildlife. The camp has some of the best guides on the continent. Breakfast is taken outside in the conservancy; imagine having coffee and eggs under acacia trees next to the sounds of the rushing river, with views of giraffe on the horizon. Return to camp and indulge in a delicious lunch, resting afterwards in your tent, perhaps with a drink in hand, looking at elephant while on the verandah. Set out for a magical evening. Evening and night drives offer a setting sun, unparalleled views and the sounds of the bush as animals wake up. There's nothing quite like an East African safari, and Naboisho helps you experience it beautifully.
