My husband and I took a personal vacation for our 5-year anniversary and stayed at the gorgeous TRS Coral. Not only were the staff attentive, they made sure everything was extra special to celebrate us. We received a room upgrade to the most beautiful swim-out rooms with an ocean view, champagne upon arrival and discounted spa bookings. It is one of the best adults-only all-inclusive resorts in Playa Mujeres. We hardly ever want to go back to the same resort so we can try others, but we both agreed we would happily return.

With just a quick 40-minute transfer to the resort from the Cancun Airport, we were sipping drinks poolside almost immediately. The check in process was quick and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They showed us around the resort (where to eat, what building we would be staying in, and who to call if we needed anything). You receive a free shared transfer through the resort, but you also have the option to upgrade to a private transfer.
When you stay at TRS Coral, you can go to many bars and restaurants. You can also eat, drink and swim at the Palladium resort, which is connected to the hotel. There are more food options and pools there. All together, we had well over 30 bars and restaurants to check out. We never had to step foot in a buffet if we didn't want to as breakfast, lunch and dinner were all offered a la carte.
The best restaurants were La Boheme, Tentazione and Sumptori (Hibachi). The other restaurants were also very good, but these were the three that stood out to us most. There is one pool on the TRS side of the resort, which is adults-only. They had pool entertainment / live music every day, and the pool servers and swim-up bartenders made sure we never went without a drink in our hands. Our swim-up room was right off the TRS pool, which meant we could get service for food and drinks right in our swim-up!
In the evenings, both TRS and the Palladium (family-friendly side) had entertainment — from live music to cocktail classes and casino night. A must-see evening show is Bingo, which is offered on Monday and Wednesday nights. Before going to the resort, make sure you have the Palladium Group app and WhatsApp on your phone. This will make it much easier to talk to staff.
Need to know
I recommend TRS Coral to my clients looking for a honeymoon, anniversary or a romantic, relaxing couple's getaway. It would also be a great location for a multi-couple trip as they have room categories to fit everyone's budget. Reach out and let me plan your perfect Mexico, all-inclusive vacation!
