The ship itself was a work of art, with a stunning design and décor, in black, white and lush green tones. Every detail was carefully thought out, from the beautiful staterooms to the shared spaces, which were comfortable, spacious and well-appointed. Our suite had wonderful welcome amenities that we enjoyed throughout our 7-day sailing.

The guided tours provided a diverse range of experiences, catering to the preferences of all types of travelers. My personal favorites were the scenic 3-hour bike rides along the Danube's banks and the captivating visit to Melk Abbey.

The bike ride offered a refreshing perspective of the picturesque surroundings, while the visit to Melk Abbey was a fascinating cultural immersion. Don’t miss the library! An unexpected highlight was when our guide surprised us during a break on the bike ride by treating us to a captivating opera performance!

The culinary team on board spared no expense in creating gourmet meals that were both delicious and beautifully presented. From locally inspired dishes to international cuisine, every meal was a culinary delight. As we were celebrating milestone birthdays, we had the pleasure of being treated to a wonderful dinner and table dressed up especially for the occasion.

Two cushioned chairs, and a small, round table full of welcome treats, bottles of spirits and wine, fresh fruit, cupcakes and welcome notes.

Leaving the best for last - the staff. There are no words to describe their kindness and dedication. Most have been with Uniworld for decades and that tells a lot about the company and their values. They are the reason you will come back over and over again.

PS: At your final stop in Nuremberg, don't miss having the best ice cream in town at Die Kleine Eismanufaktur in Nuremberg, Bavaria Germany. Their flavors change with the seasons so you are always surprised.
