Site Inspection at Cascade Hotel Kansas City in Kansas City, MO
Curator’s statement

In July of 2024, I did a site inspection of this beautiful property because I had local clients looking for unique staycation opportunities. I chose this hotel to recommend because it is new, creative and right on the Country Club Plaza. It is close to high-end shopping and fine dining.

A spacious hotel lobby with curved black walls, modern furniture and white marble floors.

Immediately upon arrival, the staff is welcoming and accommodating. I was greeted with smiles as I waited in the gorgeous lobby for service. There is valet parking for a fee, or you can self-park in the secure garage. A full-service bar is present in the background, operating almost more as art than anything else. The craftmanship is stunning. The re are several lounge areas to sit and relax. There is a small cafe to grab coffee and snacks, and also a food hall onsite with a variety of options to choose from for dining. Sojourn Spa is also onsite, and offers a vast menu of services to help you wind down without having to leave the property. This property is designed to give you a vacation vibe without having to leave the property, or leave the city. There are panoramic, sweeping views of the Country Club Plaza at every turn. The rooms are boutique and modern, leaving no amenity desired. There are also conference rooms on site that are available for booking for large group conferences, meetings, or parties with smart capabilities for media and sound.

A dark wood hotel bar with black barstools, a geometric rug and windows on each side.
A well lit hotel conference room with a large white rectangular table, high back blue chairs, multiple tv screens and a mirrored ceiling.
A corridor in the hotel with dark blue walls, circular light fixtures and grey carpet.

Need to know

I highly recommend this property to any Midwesterners wanting to have a staycation while feeling as if they have stepped into another city. Kansas City is proud of her Country Club Plaza, and this property is a welcomed addition to this area of town. Since my site inspection, I have already booked clients here due to their interest in this brand new property.
