This is a lovely event place and you can see the owners are taking great care to upgrade the facilities and rooms.
This mansion used to be a private home for the Pratt family and as you enter, you can see that much of the 1st floor layout still had the chandeliers and trims from the original architecture. Immediately upon entering from the from circular driveway with a water fountain, you'll see a small reception desk and the grand staircase.
There are a few banquet rooms available for events. Most of the event rooms available have either large floor to ceiling windows, access to the pool, patio or garden and/or working fireplaces.
Outdoor pool space and patio are open in the spring and summer for events. When the restaurants are open, outdoor seating is possible as well.
Hallways are charming and filled with photos or paintings of the mansion back in 1910's when it was first built.
The hotel opens their restaurant helmed by an award winning executive chef Rodrigo Bernal. At this time the restaurant and event catering is from the same kitchen, but the hotel is in the process of building a second kitchen and waiting to finish renovation on another restaurant on the property in their Overlook wing. The Overlook wing is new and is where the future full service spa will be as well. You'll see the indoor pool open for the guests during the winter.
There's a pub located on the 3rd floor with game rooms, an oak carved bar.
The rooms are also not all renovated but the ones that have been are nicely furnished with traditional style furniture. The Luxury King rooms have a large marble shower in the bathrooms. These rooms are bright.
