5 STAR HOTELS

RELAIS CHRISTINE

Located in the heart of St. Germain on a quiet street is this luxurious boutique hotel. The hotel is housed in a 16th-century building that was once a private mansion. It has carefully preserved its historic charm while incorporating modern amenities and comforts. Just a short walk from iconic landmarks such as Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Louvre Museum and the Luxembourg Gardens, it makes for a great hotel on the Left Bank. For the couple wanting to get away from it all, their in-house spa by Guerlain set within 13th-century vaults will meet those needs. Pro tip: Make sure to plan time to relax in their private garden.

Best for: Couples, girls getaways and spa lovers

ESPRIT SAINT GERMAIN

Known as your “home away from home” in Paris, this small luxury boutique hotel shows up as one of the best hotels in St. Germain. It is known for its intimate atmosphere, personalized service and upscale amenities. The hotel was renovated in the last few years with an eye toward authentic Parisian charm. You will be welcomed here with five-star service and complimentary drinks by the fireplace — yes, please!

Best for: Couples, families and solo travelers

4 STAR HOTELS

HOTEL SAINT ANDRE DES ARTS

On my last trip to Paris, I stayed at this new, '70s-inspired boutique hotel in the heart of the Left Bank area literally steps from the action. I fell in love with the decor, the lovely in-house team and also the fact I could live my best life “solo” in Paris. The hotel has a mix of cozy and contemporary vibes and the color theme by floor was my favorite Easter egg. It definitely got my vote for one of the best hotels in St. Germain. It is also the perfect hotel for guests looking for more space. Their Prestige Suite has a king bed plus a sofa bed and also connects to a classic guest room for more space.

Best for: Couples, families, girls getaways and solo travelers

HOTEL BAUME

Located on a side street around the corner from Blvd Saint-Germain, this is the perfect spot for a quiet night and busy day. Within this boutique hotel there are 35 rooms and suites decorated in a remixed 1930s style with five different decor themes. Some rooms have a terrace, which is a dream for slow mornings with a coffee and croissant. There is a breakfast space in the lobby and they also have an honor bar option for guests. This could be a good find for families, as some of their rooms have queen sofa beds options, which is not always easy to find in Paris.

Best for: Couples, families, girls getaways and solo travelers

HOTEL & SPA LA BELLE JULIETTE

The hotel was named after Juliette Recamier, a prominent figure in French literature during the 18th and 19th centuries. I am declaring this the best hotel in St. Germain for a girls trip. When you marry the fact that it’s steps from Le Bon Marché department store (let’s shop!) and has a spa in-house (and a Hamman), it's a dream come true for a girly getaway. But, with 45 rooms and suites with street view or garden view options, there is a fit for so many travelers. In the warmer months, they have a private garden restaurant where you can enjoy cocktails and bites.

Best for: Girls getaways, couples and solo travelers
