Exterior
As a longtime resident of Philadelphia, I know The Bellevue well. A true city landmark, it stands prominently on South Broad Street at the heart of both the arts and entertainment district and the business district. In many ways, it’s central to everything — surrounded by some of the city's best restaurants, premier shopping, City Hall and other attractions, all within walking distance.

Hallway to Walnut St.
Originally opened in 1904, The Bellevue has undergone several transformations over the years. This latest evolution feels like a reincarnation — what the hotel's website describes as a “magnificent reawakening.” The historic façade has been meticulously preserved, along with architectural details inside the lobby, ballrooms and guest rooms, while a modern design refresh infuses a renewed sense of quiet luxury and sophisticated elegance.

Presidential Suite
The hotel now boasts a new restaurant, with another currently in development. While some finishing touches are still underway, The Bellevue is open for business, offering a variety of spacious accommodations. Hardwood floors, original layouts and carefully restored fixtures maintain its classic charm. Guests can choose from two suite styles — one traditional and the other, the moody and dramatic “Dark & Stormy.” The presidential suite is spectacular.
To top it off, guests enjoy access to the expansive 100,000-square-foot Sporting Club Fitness Center and workspace.

Need to know
The rooms facing the interior Conservatory will be quieter and some have doors opening to a Juliet balcony. The corner suites are unique and fun.
