Art Basel Miami Beach itself is a fantastic event that showcases contemporary art from around the world. You can visit various art galleries and public art installations in Miami Beach during this time. Firstly, make sure you plan and make an itinerary or hire an expert like me to make one and plan your trip!
First off, make sure to check out the Miami Beach Convention Center for the main Art Basel event. You can book these tickets in advance, in case it sells out. It is a four-day event from December 5th to the 8th. Also, visit galleries around the city as well. I personally enjoyed Elena Bulatova Fine Art Gallery in Miami Beach, which was next to my hotel.
Though I went for art, most people go for just the parties and networking! I say, do as much as you can, but expect not to get much sleep. I stayed in Miami Beach because that is where most of the main events were.
I highly recommend booking parties or dinner reservations in advance. I looked all over the internet to find out about events. TikTok and Eventbrite are your best friends! I was invited to the Ebony Magazine Exclusive Event, as well as Rasa x Bali, just from searching TikTok. Also, a lot of events are free.
