Curator’s statement
The Four Seasons is located on Dalton Street, tucked into Boston's Back Bay, a short stroll to the Prudential, Newbury Street or even Fenway. It is the second Four Season's property in Boston, with the first a newly refurbished property across from the Public Garden. It is the perfect spot for business travel, a couples or family trip and wins my applause for likely the most accessible luxury hotel in Boston (another perk for all the Boston-based medical travel). Plus, it's the only spa and pool combo in the entire city.

The Dalton Hotel is connected to 22 floors of residences, which are only in full-time occupation by less than 40 guests.
The lobby is a series of small rooms with a well known art collection (if you have an art lover traveling, make sure to grab the guide on check in). The lobby has a bar and the small restaurant on the first floor offers a selection of "boozy tea" services on weekends, complete with finger foods, shots for your tea pot and their special multi-colored pots.
What makes this hotel very special is the huge gym (they will bring a Peloton to your room - reserve ahead), indoor pool (handicap access via lift) and on-site spa. The spa can tailor everything from prenatal and couples, to chemo friendly therapies. Having all these services on one floor makes this hotel a great destination for a staycation in Boston, a girls trip or an easy family getaway.
The rooms are big, with floor to ceiling windows and power curtains. Standalone soaking tubs have views of Fenway and many room types offer sitting areas. Even the smallest room will allow two adults and two children, not an often seen allowance at other properties.
The room categories vary and if you book the best room in one category, you can get an upgrade to the next category, like the Executive Suite. A few of the room combinations can be closed off with a master external door.
The onsite restaurant Zuma is a Japanese fusion restaurant that turns into a Boston hot spot on weekend nights with a DJ and frequent visits from Celtics and Red Sox players.
Breakfast is served (included) in the restaurant or in your room. Guests also receive a property credit. Prices vary based on events in Boston. For big games, graduations and other events, book ahead!
Accessibility wise, another home room as they offer accessible rooms in each upgrade category, so you can actually take advantage, availability pending. They recently hosted a family undergoing treatment with two wheelchairs and multiple nurses. They had half a floor and it was a home run.
This is the perfect hotel for peace and onsite amenities.
