A road surrounded by trees during the daytime

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Olema House in West Marin, and it was a truly delightful experience. The property is nestled in a peaceful, scenic setting, with expansive grounds perfect for relaxing or letting your dog frolic—yes, it's dog-friendly! The rooms are cozy and charming, providing the perfect escape for anyone looking to unwind in nature. It’s also an ideal spot for weddings and small group gatherings, with its beautiful grounds and welcoming atmosphere. I had a few meals at their restaurant, Due West, and was impressed by the farm to table quality.

A tray of oysters on a table

During my stay, I loved how convenient everything was. Tony’s Seafood was just a short drive away for some delicious oysters by the water. I explored the stunning Limantour Beach and the iconic Cypress Tree Tunnel, all within a 30-minute drive. The quaint town of Point Reyes is just two minutes away, offering great options for dining and shopping. If you're looking for a serene getaway with access to natural beauty and local charm, Olema House is a fantastic choice.

Need to know

Make Olema House your basecamp to explore the stunning natural beauty of West Marin. Bring your pup and enjoy the fabulous food and endless hiking/biking options. It feels off the grid but has a comfortable and cozy vibe. The service was top notch!
