I recently had the opportunity to visit all three of these resorts, and I was blown away by each one. Here is a more detailed overview of my trip:
St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort
The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort is a luxurious resort located on its own private island in the Dhaalu Atoll. The resort features 77 overwater and beachfront villas, all with private plunge pools. The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort is also home to a world-class spa, six restaurants and a variety of other amenities.
I stayed in a one-bedroom overwater villa with a private plunge pool. The villa was spacious and beautifully decorated, with stunning views of the ocean. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious.
I spent my days swimming, sunbathing and exploring the island. I also took advantage of the resort's many amenities, including the spa, the fitness center and the water sports center.
In the evenings, I dined at the resort's fine-dining restaurants. My favorite restaurant was the Orientale, which serves Chinese and Thai cuisine. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable.
Kudadoo Maldives Private Island
Kudadoo Maldives Private Island is the Maldives' first fully sustainable luxury resort. The resort is located on its own private island in the Lhaviyani Atoll and features 15 private villas, each with its own private pool and direct access to the beach.

In the evenings, I dined at the resort's two restaurants. My favorite restaurant was the Five.eight Undersea Restaurant, which is located five meters below the ocean's surface. The food was excellent and the dining experience was truly unique.
Soneva Jani
Soneva Jani is a luxurious resort located on its own private island in the Noonu Atoll. The resort features 44 overwater and beachfront villas, all with private plunge pools. Soneva Jani is also home to a world-class spa, six restaurants and a variety of other amenities.
