This four-star hotel is perfectly located within a few minute walk to the ocean yet secluded enough to allow for more privacy and less crowds. The hotel has a retro vibe with beautiful decor and a turquoise colored theme throughout. Two pools, one a rooftop with incredible views of the intercoastal and such thoughtful use of spaces allowing little "corners" of comfort. Swings, hammocks, lounge chairs- all beyond comfortable. Thoughtful touches like having sunglasses and pool floats available. There are free bike rentals included with your stay and the area surrounding the hotel has multiple shopping and dining options.
The rooms were large, comfortable, clean and so well thought out. A mini retro fridge, a retro radio, outlets throughout for charging, robes that were so comfortable. A steamer, blowdryer and full-size body/hair products that smelled divine! They also had a beach bag with towels hanging on the door - one less thing to have to think about.
Courtyards outside the rooms, throughout the hotel offered chairs, games and activities to allow for both quiet time and social activities.
The hotel offers activities and specials each week which also include live music by the pools. There is also a spa you can make use of on the grounds.
There are two restaurants that offer a variety of options, the pool side bar includes great choices for lunch and a whole coconut with coconut water!
The staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure all needs were met. This hotel is perfect for a solo getaway, romantic getaway and even a family getaway! There truly is something for everyone.

I highly recommend Kimpton Shorebreak Fort Lauderdale to all of my clients. This hotel offers something for everyone and I am certain you will leave with a smile on your face!
