Where to stay

This five-star hotel is nestled in the heart of the city next to the famous Crown Liquor Saloon, Opera House and City Hall, and it's just a short walk or quick ride to the Maritime Mile (home to the Glass of Thrones, Big Fish and Titanic Museum). The hotel offers 146 guest rooms and suites, including accessible options and a Penthouse Suite. All rooms come with standard king beds or larger. The buses from Dublin drop off directly next to the hotel as well, making it easy to access when traveling from Dublin or other parts of Ireland. The Fitzwilliam is one of Fora's preferred partners through the Preferred Hotels Platinum Program.

As preferred partners, the following perks were received during our stay:

  • Daily breakfast for two

  • Complimentary drinks at the bar

  • Welcome amenities, as well as a welcome note

  • Complimentary WiFi

  • Room upgrade from an Executive King Room to a Superior King Room

The room itself was fabulous with trendy, yet sophisticated decor and an oversized king bed. The breakfast area was spacious and offered a large variety in the buffet area (including gluten-free options) and a large menu to order from the kitchen. The hotel guests were a mix of business travelers and tourists. I would love to stay here again and will recommend this property to anyone visiting Belfast.

A thoughtfully designed hotel
Elegant and beautifully designed dinning area
A neatly made bed in a brightly lit room with a blue couch.
