Virtuoso study tour at Angsana Corfu: A Perfect Blend of Luxury and Serenity
Curator’s statement

During a recent study tour with Virtuoso I visited Corfu, Greece. The tour was hosted by Angsana Corfu, which is part of Banyan Tree in partnership with Accor. It’s the first Banyan Tree property in Europe. The resort offers a collection of 159 contemporary rooms and suites, plus 37 luxury villa homes (with pools).

From the moment I stepped onto the resort, I was captivated by the azure waters and the rugged beauty of the surrounding cliffs. Whether from the comfort of my private balcony or while lounging by the infinity pool, the views were a constant reminder of the natural splendor that this beautiful Island has to offer. Angsana Corfu boasts an unparalleled location, offering guests stunning panoramic views of the turquoise Ionian Sea.

With its award winning infinity pool, rejuvenating spa, delectable culinary offerings and unforgettable excursions there is something for everyone. It’s also very family friendly with a kids club on site. The resort is about 20/25 minutes from the airport which is such a bonus! Direct flights from many European countries, such as UK, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Austria, France, Scandinavia and many others or through Athens with a short flight of 50 minutes on a daily basis.

Corfu offers an array of activities to suit all interests, such as exploring the charming old town, visiting the old fortress of Corfu, indulging in olive tastings and embarking on boat trips to nearby islands mixed with beach clubs. Families will find plenty to do, from museums and water sports to visiting an aquarium. Our days were spent immersed in the beauty and culture of Corfu, and I can confidently say that this island is a destination on the rise.

The on-site spa at Angsana Corfu provides a haven of relaxation and rejuvenation. The expert therapists pampered me with a wide range of indulgent treatments, leaving me feeling utterly refreshed. From traditional Greek-inspired therapies to contemporary wellness rituals, the spa offerings were tailored to meet every guest's needs. The serene ambiance, coupled with the skilled therapists' attentive care, made my spa experience truly blissful. Try the Mediterranean rain mist! It’s one of the best spa experiences I've had.
