Site Inspection at Royal Davui Island Resort in Fiji

Bula! Royal Davui is one of the most unique places I have been to and stayed; the beauty is unmatched. The resort is also its own island, and they genuinely make you feel at home here. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the whole staff, who got to show us a bit of their culture by singing a welcome song for me and a departure song when I left the island. Their level of personalization goes above and beyond, as the whole staff knew me by my first name from the moment I arrived.

Royal Davui Island is an adults-only, luxury Fijian resort perfect for a romantic couples' getaway or a honeymoon escape! There are 16 stunning villas whose architecture allows you to transport your body and mind to an island style of living. The villas resonate with nature, seamlessly blending into the lush island with the gorgeous surrounding of blue water. All the villas offer plunge pools that look out to pure nature, making you feel entirely disconnected from the hustle and bustle you left at home. The villas provide excellent privacy and make you feel as if you are the only people staying at the resort.

The shared spaces of this resort feel just as magical. Beautiful foliage, exotic trees, and an encapsulating sense of calm always surround you. The outdoor restaurant, the tropical ambiance of the pool, and the ability to walk right out into the water seal the deal even more.

If you like to get on a more personal level with the outdoors, I highly recommend diving or snorkeling in this destination. While staying at Royal Davui, I had the opportunity to experience some of the most beautiful marine life I have ever seen and the most vibrant coral reefs and creatures to go along with it. An excellent feature for ocean lovers is you don't have to travel very far by boat to see all of the aquatic life living within the Fijian waters, and all of these excursions are available through the resort itself.
