Curator’s statement
I attended a FAM tour in January 2025 on the Odyssey of the Seas. It is a perfect choice for large groups, families and sociable solo travelers. This ship sails from Cape Liberty, NJ from October through April to the Caribbean. Which allows budget-conscious travelers to vacation ashore without having to pay for airfare. I enjoyed this ship from start to finish and felt right at home as soon as I stepped onto the ship. I trust your clients will feel the same.

This ship is part of the Quantum class and was built in 2021. This is the first year it has sailed out of Bayonne. It is a large ship, holding 5,900 passengers. The ship is here through April, then comes back in October before heading to Europe, California and Alaska for the rest of the year.

Can you see yourself lounging on this comfy couch in your suite?; Inviting decor in-suite bathrooms
My favorite things about the ship are as follows:
The ship has a light and airy feel to it, which you see reflected in the cabin decor, restaurants, Windjammer and pools.
The Sports deck is amazing! It has two levels and has a huge basketball court that turns into a pickleball or badminton court, a roller-skating rink and a bumper car floor, too. The court is "netted" to catch flying basketballs, which is a nice touch. On top of that, there is a Players Sports Bar on the second level. Parents can watch their kids while watching a ton of flat-screen TVs to watch all your favorite sports teams!

The Wonderland restaurant, based on Alice in Wonderland
The Solarium comes with its own mannequin that inspires you to get in their beautiful, three-level pool, lounge on one of their many chairs or grab a refreshing drink.. It's a fun and lighthearted touch that I adored.

The ever so serene "Sanctuary"; The mannequin makes you wanna take a dip in the pool, stat!
The Windjammer's food was plentiful, appetizing and flavorful. I went back for seconds and never felt like I had to wait in line for long at any station.

The comfortable bed in an Oceanview Balcony cabin; Twin Beds for two? The second room in the Suite cabins
Finally let's talk about the cabins. I toured three - an OceanView accessible balcony, a two-bedroom suite and an oversized balcony at the very forward part of the ship. The cabins are decorated with light tans contrasted with pretty brown patterned carpets, and the bathrooms have contemporary tiled floors and backsplashes that feel fresh and new.

Need to know
I highly recommend Odyssey of the Seas for clients who want a new ship, but don't want to spend money on flights to Florida. It's great for a seasoned traveler, but I actually think it's best for a new "cruiser," because it is so nicely designed that it would convince him or her to book again. The ship is perfect for family reunions, large groups and young families. All of whom will have a blast enjoying the many pools, entertainment offerings, restaurants and more on this fabulous ship. If you are looking for a fantastic voyage, let me help plan your next cruise adventure!
