Curator’s statement
This hotel was the perfect fit for me and my two daughters (ages 10 and 13). There was a rooftop pool (very quiet) that the girls got to enjoy in the evening. There is a charming breakfast spot off the lobby (that had the most delicious biscuits), and a beautiful restaurant included for dinner as well. The location was fantastic — close to all of the sites in the city. What stood out the most, was the staff. Everyone was fantastic, including the doorman, Richard. My daughters want to return just because of his welcoming and friendly nature. We'll never stay anywhere else!

The location of the property is fantastic — right off King Street and within walking distance to most of the sites in Charleston. There are dozens of restaurants within a few minutes walk, ranging from pizza to fine dining. The rooftop pool was perfect for a quick dip and spacious enough for everyone to have their own space. The service at the hotel was perfection — everyone we met was so hospitable and gracious. Most notably, the doorman, Richard. He's one reason we will continue to visit the Lindy. Hot and Handy is a delicious biscuit spot in the hotel — it is also a great place to grab breakfast. The Lenoir restaurant is also within the hotel and was fantastic. The food was delicious and both places were very accommodating to my daughter's allergies.

A few other places to visit that were highlights:
The Hotel Bennett for their afternoon tea — delicious and so much fun. Both of my daughters enjoyed it. (Their hot chocolate was the best we have ever had.)

Perfume making at Tijon: A really fun and unique experience for girls and women of all ages.

Private Dolphin tour with Charleston Dolphin Tours: Kevin was incredibly communicative up until the morning of our tour. The weather made us have to pivot a little bit, but we made the most of it. We'll be doing this again!
Christophe Artisan Chocolatier: This was right across the street and had the most delicious chocolates, croissants and pastries and coffee! A must-visit — the line on weekend mornings is long!
