This is the villa's shore, with the best and most famous attractions in Lake Como. The location is ideal for exploring those attractions, with easy access to them via ferry or car.

Boasting arabesque gardens, six exquisite suites and a noble history dating back to the 16th century, Villa Sola Cabiati is just a few minutes from the hotel by car or boat. Which can be exclusively booked, complete with a private staff, offering you the chance to experience your Lake Como dream to the fullest. Fun fact: Taylor Swift stayed here in summer 2024 during her Milan Eras Tour stop in Italy!

La Terrazza Gualtiero Marchesi: La Terrazza is the only place in the world where you can taste Marchesi’s most famous dishes. Highlights include the Dripping di Pesce, inspired by Jackson Pollock; the delicious Riso, oro e zafferano; the unique Raviolo aperto with scallops, ginger and butter and Il rosso e il nero, a cool and spicy sauce paired with monkfish in squid ink. Plus, you'll be dining on what might be the most beautiful terrace on Lake Como, surrounded by color, with perfectly set tables and candlelight.

L’Escale Trattoria & Wine Bar: At L’Escale, the focus is all about celebrating local flavors, from Nebbiolo wines to ravioli di zincarlin (a classic Lombard dish with asparagus and truffle). This is the spot to enjoy veal cutlet alla milanese, grilled fiorentina steak, salumi platters and more. Plus, there’s a collection of over 1,300 bottles, with sommeliers eager to share their expertise. The mood is casual-chic!

Da Giacomo Al Lago: Where the lake meets the sea, their sister restaurant to the beloved Milanese landmark brings top-quality seafood and a touch of high glamor to the lido. The alfresco outpost of Giacomo Milano quickly became a style hub on Lake Como from the day it opened. And it’s no surprise: the stunning views, the lively staff and the freshest fish and crustaceans. Everything comes together perfectly, making it an irresistible experience.

T Bar: It’s hardly changed in a century, just the way everyone seems to prefer it. Guests can relax in a soft divan, taking in the burnished walnut bar or the vibrant period colors of the Sala Musica while enjoying a classic Negroni or the signature GHT twist on a Spritz. Hint: it’s the grapefruit-rosemary combination.

T Pizza: The crust is both pillowy and crunchy. The mozzarella di bufala, is white and delicate. The toppings range from the classic margherita and napoletana to more adventurous choices like provola affumicata, ricotta, fiori di zucca, anchovies and wild herbs. The view from the Flowers Pool is super relaxing!

Dimmidisì: Planning the perfect private dining experience comes naturally to them. Whether guests are celebrating a milestone, starting a trip of a lifetime or preparing to ask an important question, their team ensures it’s unforgettable. With a range of unique locations throughout the hotel and its park, they bring every vision to life with flawless attention to detail.

Wellness

T Spa: a luxurious spa offering a range of treatments, including massages and beauty therapies. The spa also features an infinity pool, a sauna and a Turkish bath, all set within the beautiful hotel gardens.

Sport

La Malpensata features a fully equipped gym in a charming 18th-century setting, offering a complete fitness experience. With three floors dedicated to cardio, yoga and strength training, it provides a variety of workout options. Plus, each floor boasts beautiful lake views.

Grand Hotel Tremezzo also features more than five acres of olive trees, palm groves and botanic gardens, which form one of the Lake's largest and most beautiful private parks. Find tranquility or go for a run on its winding paths and take inspiration from its rich history — and views for miles, and days. If you reach the top of the small hill, you’ll get a marvelous view of Bellagio! You do not wanna lose that!

Cons

The hotel is a popular destination, especially during peak season, so expect a bustling atmosphere at times.

Grand Hotel Tremezzo is a true icon. When you think of Lake Como, Grand Hotel Tremezzo probably comes to mind. It's one of my favorites. Despite its size, it maintains an elegant charm, thanks to Valentina's touch, which she brings to all the De Santis family properties. You’ll definitely enjoy your stay, surrounded by beauty and genuine Italian elegance.
