Grapevine is a historical small town in Texas, so it’s great for anyone who is passing through the Dallas-Fort Worth area who wants to experience that genuine Texan vibe. And since it’s so conveniently connected to DFW airport, it’s a great stop off for an overnight layover or business trip. You can also ride the train further down to the Fort Worth stockyards for even more Texan adventures.
The property has 120 rooms, six Suites and one Presidential Suite. Most rooms are suited towards couples or individuals as only 10% of the rooms provide double beds. It’s a new hotel, having opened in 2020, so everything is still in tip-top shape. Also, HUGE bathrooms in the suites, so great if you have a bridal party in need of hair and make-up space. This property may not be ideal for families, but they do tend to host several family-oriented events throughout the year, especially around the holidays. Vibe-wise, this would be for your younger professionals, business travelers and wine lovers who want something with an upscale, boutique-feel and want a sense of place.
A unique feature of the property is the interconnected European-style food hall filled with local foodie favorites in the style of the old train station. This venture is in collaboration with the city of Grapevine, so the visitor center office and souvenir shop can be found here, as well. Walking towards the food hall from the lobby, you could easily miss the telephone room, but this would be an unfortunate mistake as the telephone room doubles as a hidden entry to the hotel’s very own speakeasy bar, Magnum Speakeasy. Make sure to reserve your spot in advance for the weekends. This hotel also features live music, trivia and karaoke most nights of the week! A one stop shop for entertainment. For your wine-lovers, be sure to check the events’ calendar ahead of time to see what local wineries may be hosting a tasting at the hotel. Restaurants include Bacchus and WineYard plus the interconnected food hall, Harvest Hall.

Overall, this is a great layover stay as it’s convenient to the DFW airport and a one-stop shop for entertainment and local cuisine. Not ideal for families, but great for business travelers and couples looking for a little taste of Texas!
