During March 2024, I spent time in Turks and Caicos. The water was some of the purest and clearest I have ever seen while visiting this pristine and beautiful land. During this trip I had the pleasure to island hop, which I will detail in another article. I know I wanted to do a few different things while in this beautiful country. I wanted to relax, I wanted to balance my mind, I wanted to explore, and I wanted to swim with humpback whales. The Palms Turks and Caicos is frequently ranked among the world's top 100 hotels, that offers luxury at its finest. In Grace Bay, right on the waterfront, you will find this 72-room luxury condo hotel.

The Palms is ideally located near Grace Bay shops and restaurants in the heart of Grace Bay Beach. The Regent Village and Salt Mills Plaza, two shopping malls in the area, are less than two miles away. Within 4 miles of the property is the Princess Alexandra National Park. Long Bay Beach and a conch farm are other attractions on the eastern side of Providenciales. The island can be explored by renting a car or scooter. I chose a car on this trip.

Among The Palms' dining options is the AAA Four Diamond Award-winning Parallel23, which features Caribbean fusion cuisine outside beneath a domed dining area. 72°West is the resort's casual poolside bar and grill, serving Caribbean-inspired dishes. An outdoor tropical courtyard serves breakfast every morning at The Garden, the property's third restaurant. L'Attitude Bar is also available for travelers to enjoy a cocktail.

My extensive search for the best spa on the island led me to Providenciales! An absolutely breathtaking property all around. And that is before you even get to the 25,000-square-foot spa with stand-alone treatment rooms surrounded by water during the day and by fire at night. Its award-winning treatments combine holistic therapies from around the world with ingredients sourced locally. The faint aroma of geranium becomes apparent after passing through the green-painted iron gates. Inhaling the smell of sandalwood and orange I approached the spa. I felt my senses become more heightened. My nose was filled with the intoxicating nectar of the flower of joy and happiness, the hibiscus blossom. The spa at The Palms was secluded and surrounded by lush tropical gardens. The spa provided a tranquil environment. I was instantly at peace when I stepped foot into the spa with its elegant decor and natural elements.

Upon arriving I was taken to the men's locker room and provided with a robe and sandals. The locker room had showers and a lovely outdoor area that had a sauna, steamroom, and a rain shower. The steam room smelled of lemongrass and eucalyptus. After indulging, I was whisked to the incredible outdoor area lined with loungers and overlooking a stunning calming pool. The treatment rooms were small buildings lining the pool area with their own 'backyard' and water views. I found the staff to be friendly and attentive, and the treatments to be of the highest quality. After receiving the best massage I have ever had, I returned the following day for a facial and another massage. Because of my spa experience, I felt refreshed and energized. I received a decadent Palms healing touch treatment that was choreographed for complete relaxation. As I laid down, I breathed deeply and drifted into a trance-like state, my mind relaxing, and allowing me to drift into inner peace. Using therapeutic massage techniques and methods from around the world combined with rhythmic movements that move deep into tired muscles, the massage therapist never loses contact with my body. I felt my stress and tension melt away. The overall experience at the spa was nothing short of extraordinary. Each detail, from the soothing scents to the tranquil surroundings, was meticulously crafted to foster relaxation and rejuvenation. I left feeling completely refreshed and eager to return to this oasis of serenity.

A stay at The Palms is not just about a resort, but about an experience. As soon as you walk into the breezy foyer to check in, you are greeted with cold towels, a refreshing drink, and comfortable seating. Beautiful architecture and landscape make this resort feel like a dream. The apartment-like room not only smelled like the resort's signature scent, it was also extremely clean and well maintained. The Palms' turndown service each night with chocolates, sweet notes, & slippers was truly a sign of luxury. There are numerous staff members who work diligently to make guests feel welcome and are extremely professional. My experience at the spa was one of the best I've ever had, and I will never forget it! The ambiance is serene and soothing from the moment you arrive. The day I can return is one I dream of! It's a resort unlike any other. Don't miss it.
