Location:

The resort is located approximately 35 minutes from Salt Lake City airport and around another 30 minutes from Park City proper. The resort is a destination in itself and is situated on 3,500 acres.

Winter offerings:

In winter, the Lodge becomes a snowy wonderland, offering some of the finest skiing and snowboarding in the region. While Park City, one of the largest ski resorts in the country, is just a short drive away, Blue Sky offers an added layer of privacy and exclusivity for those seeking a more tailored winter experience. The resort offers private heli-skiing as a unique experience, as well as off-property dogsledding, sleigh rides, and winter ice baths + hot sauna. Snowshoeing on property is very special, working your way up to one of the picturesque yurts for your private dining or Macallan hot toddy making class. Winter sporting clay shooting is super cozy in your two heated five stands.

Après-ski activities at The Lodge are equally enticing. After returning from your private shuttle and ski lodge, the Sky Lodge offers a cozy, fireside setting where guests can unwind with hot cocoa or hand-crafted cocktails.

Summer offerings:

There's 3,500 acres of rugged beauty to explore, where the pace of life slows and the outdoors becomes your playground. The Lodge offers a diverse selection of curated outdoor experiences, from guided hikes, equine experiences, sporting clay shooting to fly fishing on the pristine Weber River. For the active adventurer, mountain biking and trail-running trails provide an immersive experience in the lush wilderness. For those seeking something more relaxing, the serene valleys and quiet meadows allow for peaceful nature walks or outdoor yoga sessions. They do aerial yoga from the trees in the summer and have so many spots on property to escape (truly escape with no cell service!). During the summer, WildKitchen opens up in a specially designed yurt on the property with a unique cooking experience that sells out with tourists and locals alike.

Dining: The on-site restaurant and wellness cuisine menu places a significant emphasis on healthy eating, with organic, local ingredients. Yuta is the main restaurant, which offers breakfast, lunch and dinner and is popular with locals as well. The bar offers a smaller food menu and delicious drinks. Don't forget to grab a homemade smores kit for the fire pit! Order a "Horse Thief" cocktail from the bar and ask the bartender behind the story of the Saving Gracie Foundation and the rescue horses. In-room dining is wonderful and there's always coffee or water in the lobby 24/7.

Westernriding

Wellness: The spa offers treatments designed to heal and restore after a long day on the slopes or just to reconnect with nature and yourself, regardless of the season. Their signature wellness therapies, inspired by ancient healing traditions, feature treatments with local herbs and oils designed to soothe both body and spirit. There's many free offerings daily to include yoga and sound baths. The wellness offerings here extend across the property, and we can curate essentially anything your heart desires.

Rooms:

The attention to detail extends into the accommodations as well, where every amenity has been carefully selected to create a sense of tranquility and comfort. From a complimentary stocked fridge to nourishing snacks refilled every day, to the humidifier they start for you during turndown service. No detail is overlooked. That includes the staff, as every employee at the property exudes an authentic warmth and genuine care that is felt immediately upon arrival. The property only has 46 keys total. There are 18 spacious sky suites, 24 earth suites with indoor/outdoor offerings and some two-story rooms offering two bedrooms plus a full living area downstairs. The creekside suites really shine for a honeymoon or romantic getaway — slightly farther away from the main lodge and with the creek running through your own backyard.

Need to know

Don't miss experiences:

The Lodge at Blue Sky shares the ranch property with High West Distillery, which should definitely be a stop on your itinerary. Have one of the valets drive you two minutes down the road to enjoy a tour, tasting and brunch then just call when you're ready to be picked back up!

Equine experience and working with the staff involved with Saving Gracie Foundation is an incredible opportunity. Whether it's a trail ride, indoor arena riding or a western horsemanship class — the wranglers working with these horses have such a passion for what they do and it's not to be missed.

Proposal or special experience in the works? There's multiple special yurts on property where unique dining opportunities allow for a lasting proposal memory. Perfect for intimate dining or small groups.
